The large spring above my garage door broke. I'm handy and have numerous tools to fix stuff. How much should I expect to pay to have it repaired? Thanks in advance!

What would it cost to have 3,000 square feet of artificial turf around a residence? What would be the cost of golf quality versus playground quality? Could you put a golf quality section in and have it blend in with the playground part? How do they install it? How long does it last? Does it look crummy after a couple of years? What is underneath it? What should we know? I'd appreciate any help or advice you can give me. Thanks!

I have a oil furnace and to me it seems like we run out of oil alot. Last time we bought oil it was 150$ CAN and now we had to order some more today.

My bf tells me I have to bleed the furnace in order for it to come on. So i turn this gold thingy and white stuff comes out so i put bottle under it, and when it gets into the bottle it turns like a light orangy brown color. Theres a smell of oil.. but its not really strong. So im thinking it could be oil and water mixed.

As im drainning this, I push this big red button, but today it seems that i had to drain alot...and in this bottle, there is white thicky wax looking stuff at the bottom and the orange brownish stuff on top.

This is my first house living with no parents, so i dont know if im doing this right or not. But running out of oil almost within 2 weeks seem a bit strange to you? And am I bleeding this furnace right? I can upload pics if anyone would like.

Thanks.

I live in the Sacramento, CA area and we are expecting temperatures in the low 20s for the next few nights. This is very unusual for us which is why I need help! On the news tonight they were warning people to cover up their citrus trees but they didn't say with what. I went out today and picked all the remaining lemons because I didn't want them ruined but now I'm worried about the tree itself. It's a dwarf lemon about 4' high and about 4' around and really resembles a bush more than a tree as the branches go all the way to the ground. What should I use to cover is up? Would an old blanket work or would that be too heavy?

Apparently there was one of those old rubber mats in our tub before we bought our house, and I cannot get the little circle spots out. I have tried bleach, comet and others but nothing works. We are about to tile and fix up the bathroom, so I want it to look nice! Any suggestions?

I bought 2 new down coats... the same style but 2 different colors. I wore one 2 weeks ago and wow while wearing it, I noticed that there was a disgusting smell coming from inside it that I noticed when I unzipped it. I wore the other one today and once again there was a disgusting/strong odor coming from inside of it. These coats are new and noticed the odor during my first wear. What is this smell? There are brand new coats. What should I do? I really like these coats a lot but the odor is bad. I used some Febreze before and yet the odor is still there... but not as much. I read online that the feathers have a bad smell when wet. Could it be that if I have the coat on and my upper body is warm (because the coat is very insulated) that I may sweat a little and that is causing the lining/feathers to produce that odor? I really do not know what to think. BTW I have excellent hygiene so it is not a matter of hygiene issues. Can anyone offer any insight? Thanks.
