No the hot water and the heat will open cracks in it. Scrub it with a dish brush that has detergent on it and then rinse with hot water. Or you could buy an aluminum tenderizer which can go through the dishwasher.

Yes I have been putting all my wooden spoon and meat tendrizers in the dishwasher and it hasn`t hurt them yet and if they do I guess I will buy new ones but so far I haven`t..

I use a stiff brush with hot soapy water (I put Chlorox in my soapy water, a couple of tablespoons). Rinse several times. I don't have a dishwasher. As for bleach soak, make it a short soak, you don't want bleach penetrating the wood.........blech.
