I decorate my home in an eclectic style.I buy what I love and want around me. It doesn't matter what style it is.Somehow it all works together. I hate homes that look like they were bought off a showroom floor, with no imagination or "collected" feel. Your home should reflect you...not a particular style. If your grandmother gave you a lovely piece, would you eliminate it from your room, because it wasn't contemporary?

I prefer real wood furniture, cupboards, doors, sills, floors.
For door handles, mirror finishes, etc I like antiqued.
Furniture I like modern.
Tiles and paint colors, I like natural stone, earth tones.
I guess I like a mixture of everything.
