I know that there are special cleaners specifically for this, many stores do not carry it, those that do are often out, and it is expensive. Any suggestions for a homemade cleaner that will not scratch, yet get it clean?

Hi whenever I use the tub or shower, the pipe that comes from the tub drain leading to the main drain leakes. It seems to be leaking from the (nipple ?)but either way, is it better to replace this (brass?) pipe with a PVC pipe or try to repair the nipple...Thank you to all of you who have been trying to help me with this same problem. I'm just still not sure what the best rememdy is.

They send you tools to test, then you answer a questionnaire and keep the tools free. There's a monthly fee of $1 and it will be billed annually ($12/year). Also, they give you 3 free gifts to start and a magazine subscription. They say you can cancel at any time during your first year without problems. They will leave you alone after that. I don't know what happens in the second year (fees go up, can't cancel without a fee, etc.) I'm trying to figure out what the catch is. Any ideas?

We've heard it's cheaper if we hire out each individual process to putting a pool in, but don't know all the steps that it requires.

I have a shirt that is almost brand new (its been worn once) and I washed/dryed it and now its alot smaller than it was new. Its made out of cotton and polyester. I believe the blend is 60% cotton and 40% polyester. Which causes more shrinkage? Needless to say, I can't really wear it comfortably now. Thanks.

I am trying to set up my desk different because it doesn't "feel" right. It's uncomfortable. Maybe I don't have the monitor and keyboard in the right positions? I don't know.

Is your keyboard right in front of your monitor or to the side? Which side is it on? Does it matter? Should I look up or down at the monitor or should it be eye level? Lighting??

Helloo~

I am renting a house on my own with my bf and neither of us have lived alone before so in all fairness...when it comes to technical things, we're noobs :/

Anyways, this place we're renting its a huge house and its very old and the person before us had a washer and dryer. The Dryer was down in the basement connected directly through the fuse box and the washer was upstairs in the kitchen (odd I know) She moved out and we moved in. The washer and dryer didn't work... and we had problems with the electrcity shutting off randomly...so we had a breaker box put in.

What I need to know is, now that the old fuse box is out, what would I need to look for in order to know if I can have a washer and dryer in my house? My mom tells me to look for "the box" for my dryer to connect to, but I have no clue what shes talking about...

Any help would be greatly appreciated. :)
