The advantages of ceramic tiles is their beauty and longevity. On the down side they are subject to cracking and must be dug out and replaced: there is a lot invested on materials and labor: the grout must be cleaned and resealed periodically to prevent leaking: they are not so easily changed as other floor and wall covering when you want to redecorate the room: and they can be hazardous when damp, wet or have food spilled on them.
But all in all, I love mine.

They last and last no matter what you do.
ON the floor however one must be very careful not to drop something on them for they do chip and pock mark.
I love them I have them in my kitchen on the floor and back splash which make it very easy to clean. Never needs painting either. I have it on the ceiling and walls in my washrooms which make the whole clean up of the room really wonderful
I love them hope you do too

only advantage I would say is resale value would be a plus, and if its what you like, go for it. I personally like a nice wood floor, not as cold as ceramic.

if the`re put in properly, they look good and last forever, thy`ll put up with strong chemical cleaning and not warp or tear or leak. they are a bit costly and labor intensive when put in, but its a one time affair
