it cost to get it fixed..and what is it?

I put bath caulk on my shower doors and they dry time says 24 hours, but it has been about 48 hours and it is still a bit wet. Is there anything that can be done to get it to dry quicker? It is a silicone base caulk...

I recently got some new shoes and the fabric part has gotten dirty (these are Nike Shox).. is there anything I can use to restore the white again?

P.S. I've washed them.. hasn't helped.

It usually quiets down and the noise goes away after a minute or so.

What might be wrong?? Is there anything I can do myself, to keep it quiet like the old days???

I have looked in the tank in the back, but don't know what to do. It takes 10-20 seconds before it finishes "swallowing" and then the flapper goes down and it starts to fill up.

If guests do not hold the handle down long enough, it goes through the motions, but actually leaves a few remains (like some leftover toilet paper) in the toilet bowl itself.

What could I try to do??? Or is this normal???

My family and I started using this brand new trash container about 2 1/2 ago. I remember the first time I used it I thought, "Man, this makes sense." Finding out I was patentable is another story, Well, after using this trash container for 2 1/2 years, we have seemed to forgotten the difficulties of using a contemporary trash container. Please give this some thought. First of all, have you ever had a hard time holding the container to the floor as you are removing the trash bag, even if you're not disabled this proves to be difficult at times. What's the cause of that problem? 2nd problem, we all know that they sometimes smell like trash. Third, are these problems worth fixing, 4th If you could! Would Making it E-Z make scents?

I recently purchased a Holmes Harmony Air Purifier and I am not sure if its working correctly. It doesn't make any sound and it also doesn't blow out air strong enough for me to feel. Although the power light is on. Is this how air purifiers are supposed to work?

I have a fairly old (not exactly sure, maybe 10 years) electric water heater in an apartment. I'm quite sure that there has been little or no maintnance done previously.

The bottom element was bad, and we replaced it with a new one. Now, frequently, the T&P valve is releasing great quantities of water. Is this caused by the new element keeping the water hotter than previously? Do we just need to replace the T&P valve?

There also seems to be water coming from somewhere inside the metal casing. The insulation is wet between the upper and lower elements, but neither element is leaking. Ideas?

We were painting my room and my mom got angry and knocked into the desk where the paint was. We were finished painting so she took the carpet portector off. The paint splattered on my wall and my beige/ brownish colored carpet! How do I get it out?? I have an ugly blue stain on my carpet. This happened about ten minutes ago? How do I get it out. The plug in is vertical and my outlet is horizantal. On the instructions is says just to turn it 90 degrees to make it horizantal, but I cant figure out how to turn it?! Help plz~~
