I have about 12 psi on syatem with 3 zoine valaves followed by a shutoff valve and bleed - what do I do? I tried opeining the blleed and get lots of hot water

Hi,
So far, I have bought the wrong bulbs for some wall lights, the oven has packed up and cursed at, the children have destroyed the Christmas card display thing, the car is mis-behaving,
Do I care?
No - it all just makes me giggle.

I'm looking to install a type of flooring in my home, and I've been considering bamboo flooring because it's supposedly a fairly decent hardwood which looks good, relatively cheap, and a renewable type of wood unlike cherry or teak.

I was wondering if you DIY-ers would know the pros and especially cons of this relatively new flooring material.

I live in the Boston area in a 1980's built condo complex, so the interior is fairly maintained year-round.

My housemate thought he was being helpful by using disinfectant to clean the kettle. (which, by the way, is still filthy). This was a few weeks ago, and the smell of the disinfectant is still really strong - plus, whenever I make a cup of tea or coffee, the taste of the disinfectant is overpowering and it is horrible. Any ideas on how to get rid of the smell and taste?
