quite the contrary.. aspirin wilts flowers

1 tablespoon of sugar + a bit of lemon soda/squash mixed well in the water
its the acidic in the lemon soda combined with the sugar that gives the same nutrients as if you were adding flower food

also - cut the stems on an angle under cold running water then put them into the vase

I don't know about flowers, but plants are sprayed with a leaf shine product. If there is an open to the public flower wholesaler in your area or maybe a nursery you could purchase it.

Asprin to keep them alive. Every day add one to a new vase of water..and mist the petals to make them glimmer and shine.

put aspirin or a drop of bleach in the water

sprinkle water drops on them and also spray some perfume for fragrance..
this way they will remain fresh
