Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to get a clean polyeurethane finish on wood? I've put four coats (Minwax SG using "China Bristle"?? brush) and sand between each. The finish is fine except for all the bumps. The last coat was put on in the Dining Room (whole 'nuther story there) with the doors closed for 24 hours and STILL it had a bumpy finish; as if I'd done it in a dusty environment. The furnace was off and the doors weren't opened after I left. Is there a better way to do this?? I like the sheen of SG (and even high gloss) but it's taking away all the pleasure of building wooden projects. Any help would be very much appreciated.

I need to make a handmade "curtain" without a sewing machine by tomorrow morning (i.e. a few hours from now...:) The curtain is being used to hide a refrigerated display case. I'm planning on using velcro to attach the material to the case. However, it is in a restaurant and will need to be cleaned quite often. So i thought using elastic to gather the material at the top would create creases to help hide any stains at least a little bit. I have a glue gun, elastic, thread, and a needle. What do you suggest?! Help please!!

I read a few ideas from the past posts on how to. I did try the Dawn down the drain. It did help alittle but it is still very slow on going down. I tried the hot water with it. Same results. I read the back of all the liquid and foam products of each product to unclog pips. They all say do not use down toilet. I used them anyways (LoL) Still didnt have any result. Can anyone help me. Thank you

Im always running out of hot water and have just been told recently that it would prove cheaper for me to leave it on rather than keep turning it on and off after a couple of hours....
