how do i remove the Sick Smell from Carpet

I have used a great tip from Kim & Aggie (How clean is your house) & what they used was a can of coke, poured on to the stain - I think this was to break it down & if the sick was still there, mop up with paper towels - if the sick is fresh so to speak.
Then sprinkle some baking soda, this will absorb & neutralise the smell. You have to let it dry & then vacuum the dried baking soda.
Baking soda is also a great neutraliser for carpets & to use in the fridge

use detol then once dry i also use a carpet cleaner, doesn't matter what type but as long as its got a good scent to it but detol will remove any bad bacteria if the sick was from a bug, plus detol smells ok too.

Once you have removed the sick from it, sprinkle liberally with bicarbonate of soda, leave overnight and vaccuum up. You may need to repeat this but generally it works very well.

Bicarbonate of soda make into a paste spread on the area let it dry hoover off smell gone.

Have someone come in and professionally clean the carpet and if that doesn't work it may be time to replace the carpet all-together.
