At the big DIY "sheds", but local timber firms are often much cheaper. Try the Yellow Pages or equivalent, and ring around a bit.

Another vote for your local timber merchants/timber yard. What they have other chains like B & Q is:
more extensive lines in stock, so they're more likely to have what you want in store and be able to find specifically what you need.
Staff who actually know what they're talking about and will help advise you.
Often free delivery if you spend over a certain amount.

Fidn them in your yellow pages etc.
