Put some non-glossy paper over it and iron on the paper, the wax will lift off the fabric onto the paper.

You need 1xiron and either light weight/ thin paper or baking parchment. heat the iron, place sheet of paper over the waxed area. carefully apply the iron to the area. When you see the wax melting onto the paper take it away. Repeat with clean pieces of paper until the wax disappears.
It requires a bit of patience but it does work.

cover the area with a brown paper bag and gently iron the area with an iron. The paper absorbs the wax. You might have to go over the area a few times but it works.

try placing a paper towel over it and using a warm iron, this will melt the wax and the towel will soak it up

put it in the freezer for about an hour, after that the wax should just pop off.

I tried the warm iron trick and it didn't work but using ice cubes on it does work. Just hold the ice cubes on it for awhile and then pick it off
