Although these tablets are supposed to contain everything you still need to use salt with them. I know this is a fact as when my dishwasher was new I thought it wasn't washing properly and called the engineer. He told me there was nothing wrong with the machine but I must use salt even with the tablets. This was a tip that has stood me in good stead for many years now. Good luck and a Happy New Year.

The amount of detergent is relevant to the level of hardness of the water. Most detergents that have the enzymes in them work really well too.
The MOST important thing though is to make sure your water is as hot as it can get. Otherwise, the detergent doesn't dissolve as well. So use the high heat mode-and if it takes a while to get the hot water to your faucets, run it at the kitchen sink until hot before starting the dishwasher.
I think the rinse aids do help, use the liquid if your dishwasher has a reservoir.

Anything you like. I tend to use 'Finish'.
Also remember to get dishwasher salt aspecially if you live in a hard water area. Also, using 'rinse aid', even with the super 27-in-1 tablets adds a nice spot free finish to glass & cutlery.
ps. read the manual that came with it - there's probably loads of hints about the various programs & dish placement for best cleaning.

I use the Fairy Active bursts,They are a all in one No need to use anything else.

I envy you. We moved recently and don't have room for a dish washer and I really miss mine, particularly over Christmas.
I stopped using the salt and rinse aid after a while, once the 3in1 and 4in1 tablets came in, and everything seemed to still work fine.

Yoy can buy a cleaner special for dish washer's .Use it once a fortnite .Don.t for get your salt and finnish .Some tablets have three in one .Read your manual you have lot of infirmation in it.Hope this helps you.
