I have noticed a bad smell, like rotten eggs, in my house that comes and goes over the past 2 or 3 days. It was first contained to my living room area downstairs but now I can smell it upstairs as well. I checked and I don't have natural gas. Everything is my house is electric. Also, my water doesn't smell either. It just seems to be a transient smell. Could this be connected to my electric central heating and air system. Lately, it has been making a weird car putting or lurging type noise (hard to describe) and it also hasn't been blowing hot air more of a warm slightly cool air.
Any ideas?

The "sleeve" between the actual door knob and the door won't budge. Is there something additional that needs to be done to get this bad-boy off the door? No, it's not stuck by paint.
thanks

i bought a 12 ft pre-lit from sams. it took 3 hours to put it up and we kept the lights on the whole time we did that because thats what the instructions said to do. the ligst stayed on perfect. the next night it took us another 3 hours to decorate it , we had a huge ladder , it was really hard. so we were like, lets not turn it on until we are all done to see how it looks with everything on it. well we turned it on and then 2 minutes later they went out. so naturally we changed the fuse, and that worked for another 2 minutes and then all the lights went out again. about 2 days and 10 fuses later i am in tears now. there is no way i am taking that sucker down and back to the store. i bought lights to hang on it now but i am still wondering what i can do to make these lights stay on! help

I did it, but of course accidentally, forgetting that aluminum foil throws sparks and catches fire. Let me just say that it looked like 4th of July fireworks going off inside when I was able to get back to it as quickly as possible. (Call of nature had to intervene.) What causes those sparks to happen anyway? I guess if you like those sizzling sounds its nice, but the food only takes a matter of seconds for it to get ruined and wasted that way. (Don't try it.) By the way, the microwave is fine but, who can now repair my food?
