I water my tree at night but forgot the other night and in the morning, the water level was empty. I don't know how long the tree was without water. In the last 24 hours, the water consumption has been significantly less. Do I need to cut the bottom again, or should I wait to see if the consumption resumes?

started to prime a room i'm about to paint. the existing paint aborbed the primer like a dry sponge. but now the existing paint and the moist new primer is now easy to peal off the wall right down to the dry wall. What do I need to do so I can prime and paint this room. Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.

My home is heated with a gas heater, the front of it says Janitrol. Lately, the heater has been "starting" but not lighting. The far left blower gets really really red, and it makes the clicking noise, then all four burners light up for about 3 seconds, and then kicks off. However, I have found that if I stand behind the heater, and use a shirt or something to "fan" in air while it is lighting, it will stay lit. Can anyone please tell me why this is happening? The filter on it is new, so I hope that's not the case.
Also, each time it kicks on is a one and done deal. It heats up the whole house just fine, but then once it kicks off, it won't come back on on it's own. I have to repeat the fanning process time and time again.

I live in a apartment building & my bathroom is flooded with over 2 inches of water and it keeps coming as soon as I can bail it out. I called the manager yesterday ( because there isnt one in this 4o unit building for about two months now ) and he said he cant get anyone here until Monday. While my bathroom is a lake and it keeps rising. I want to know can I call a plumber and give them a bill. I havent paid rent yet and I can take it out of that. What is the law on this? Do they have a specified amount of time to fix it in this condition? Can I take it out of the rent? Help!! And fast please.

I was told to keep it in the bathroom but that seems a bit on the gross side being it absorbs pretty much any moisture in the air and it's used for medical purposes and all, any suggestions?

How do I unstick my storm windows? All through the year when they were up, and many, many years, when they were up they were directly exposed to the elements.

I am hoping for the simplest, not complex, answer, cause I don't have alot of tools or experience, or know how.

There are two older people I gotta keep warm here.

Even if I was a power-house, which I am not, I would certainly be no match for them unaided!

And they are still up, I live in a cold climate. The fuel bill is already getting higher.

Is WD40 enough to do it?

Or is there a special tool of some kind.

Since not long after I purchased this washer the grey rubber lining that you see when you open the machine has become more and more warped. It does not appear that the leak came from the back, so I suspect it came from the front through that rubber thing. I've tried searching online, but have only been able to find complaints about the washer, no help in fixing it. So I have two questions, does anyone know how to fix it, and how do I find a good appliance repair person that doesn't charge as much as the washer costs to replace?
