Last year, my parents and I went out and found the perfect tree. Despite the fact that we were watering it ever single day, the tree began to to dry out at a very fast pace. The leaves got thin and brittle and weren't as green and they were the week before. How can I get this year's tree to last longer?

Thank you!

My mother and I have a bet which I really would like to win. She thinks she saw in a Sunday add, the "bubble lights for a Christmas tree." Not old ones but new ones with the old flare. I need to win this bet, I have looked for them and can not find them. Please help.

I don't even know what there called but I'm looking for something that can be used in bed to sit up and read and type for a Christmas present. Like a chair back with arms. Anyone know a website or store in Southern California where I can find one or what there actually called? Thanks.

In the Caribbean countries, the houses are made of cement blocks only to withstand years of use. Here in the US the houses and residential buildings in New York City use bricks and wood. Which one is stronger and if cement is stronger why would the US use bricks and wood instead of cement blocks.

The valve is underneath the tank. To close the valve it screws clockwise and lengthens. To drain, I screw counter clock wise and it shortens into the tank. I am unable to remove the screw. Wondering if there is a gasket on the screw inside the tank that is worn that is unfixable. I tighten the screw as much as I can and this doesn't work. Is this fixable and how much do you think it will cost?

I have a rather large poinsettia that I had for 3 years now and I successfully reflowered it two seasons in a row.

I know that poinsettias propagate by cutlings off the main bush...
WHat is the best time to make cuttlings? Is it during the flowering period or in the spring?

A friend suggested that it came as a kit from Sears, hence the name craftsman. I find that hard to believe. Can anyone confirm or deny that the statement is true.
