Has anyone had any experiance with an apartment sized washer dryer combo like the:

New Haier Combination Ventless Washer Dryer Combo
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=150063010513&ssPageName=ADME:B:EF:US:11

did it really get clothes clean?
is it energy efficient?
did it dramatically increase your electric/water bills?
is there a brand/model that you would recommend?

thanks for any info you can provide. I do not intend to spend $700-$1200 with out some personal recommendations.

My household boiler for small 2 bedroom home with basement comes on to a "whoosh" that seems louder than it should be, is this the gas regulator problem or some other thing?

It seems like no one wants to buy it from Craigslist. If you put it up for free, someone will take it, but this is nice furniture. Anyone with any ideas. Consignment shops are picky and a pain in the butt. Classified ads do not seem wo work. Help!

I am looking for a place to buy the miniature people for a christmas village. I don't want the normal ones that everyone sells they are too big for the houses. I am looking for ones that are true to scale with the houses. I REPEAT I DON'T WANT A BUNCH OF SITES THAT SELL THE MINI PEOPLE THAT LOOK LIKE THEY ARE 7 FT TALL COMPARED TO THE HOUSES. A long time ago I found a set that were really little and would stand on the front porches and in a gazebo but lost the set after a move. Thanks for your help.

My Dad has just bought a field at the back of his house which he wants to landscape, plant trees, build a pond, create a fenced area for sheep, and generally make a nice haven for local wildlife. Does anyone know any books I can buy that will be a good guide?

We can reach up inside where the lock is, but can't find any kind of release or anything. We took out the top drawer, and emptied out the one below it, but can't get it out, nor any of the other drawers. Any ideas or technical knowledge how to get it open? Model number 1745L.

My plant is a common non-flowering houseplant that cascades from a hanging basket. It is very thick with small green/purple leaves. It looks similar to a wondering jew, but is much thicker with smaller leaves. I'm trying to learn it's name so I can determine it's cold weather tolerance. Thanks.

I have lost water pressure in my 1983 home. My pipes are made of copper and I have not had any problems until this morning. I am thinking that one of the pipes has cracked due to the cold temps last night but I just don't know where to start! I need some help with troubleshooting before I call a plumber. Can someone please help?

For more details...I lose water pressure in the far back bathroom. I have no water filling up the toilet AT ALL. When I turn on the faucet, I lose pressure on the other side of the house. Basically, the further back I go in the house, the less pressure I get. This happen OVERNIGHT. That toilet, by the way, is right next to an outside brick wall where there is an ouside faucet. Thinking there is a link between the two. NO...I did not leave my water dripping last night but I did have insulation on the outside faucet.

I have called two different charity services and neither of them can take the mattress. Will the trash service pick it up when they come on Wednesday morning? Or will they leave it? I need to get rid of it as soon as possible. It's an old, dirty box and spring mattress. So, two large, ugly pieces. Help!
