almost every jacket i own has feathers in it. so when i wash it the feathers start to stick out and come out its very annoying .how do i stop them from coming out

Sounds like you have down , and the feathers are duck. You supposed to take them to the dry cleaners.

Have you read the label if it has feathers my guess is its down if your wearing down jackets you need to dry clean them.... you can buy a dry cleaning kit from Walmart or any one stop shopping center.You just throw the dry cleaning sheet in dryer with jacket .. that easy!

Try washing on a more gentle cycle. When you dry them use tennis balls in the dryer. Don't wash for so long either.
