I'm looking to get a circular saw, and have realized that almost all of them have the blade to the right of the motor. I'm right handed and would think that the blade on the left of the motor would make more sense because you could see it better? I have found a Milwaukee that has the blade on the left, but it's the only one I could find like that. Am I missing an important safety point or something. Just looking for some thoughts on this.
Thanks

My tool shed will have either vinyl siding or simply sidded with plywood and painted. Can I get away with using regular studs to help reduce the costs? Thanks.

We had a leak in one of the rooms and the carpet and chairs were soaked. We don't want mold to get in the walls.

I have a Hamilton Beach/Proctor Silex indoor grill model #25265. A couple of weeks ago it was left on too long and the thermal fuse blew. I found and replaced the fuse, but noticed the unit was grilling at maximum temperature whether the temperature regulator was at low, medium or high. Now the fuse blew again. I will replace the fuse again, but would like to know how I can fix the temperature regulator. My friend told me I will have to measure the voltage of various resistors, but without a wiring schematic the mathematics will be quite complex. Hamilton Beach refused to provide me the wiring schematic. I have no idea how it broke, but how can I fix the temperature regulator?

When I was a kid I had gotten a kit somewhere to grow snow or colored stuff on like a cardboard house. You put the little house or whatever it was your were going to grow "on" in a dish and then added some type of mixture to it and within a day or so you would have a colored "moss type" stuff growing on your item. It was almost like growing crystals but not exactly. Does anyone know what I'm talking aobut and where I could get one for my kids?

My kids got Halloween face paint on it, and it won't wipe off with a damp cloth. It originally cost around $200, I called the dry-cleaner and they said it will cost $60 to clean. I think that is way too expensive. Any ideas or tips?

Recently, our vacuum cleaner has started producing a really musty smell every time we use it (quite reminiscent of dog, despite the fact we don't have one).

Are there any ways of getting rid of the smell from the hoover itself? We've tried changing the bag and I'm not fond of air freshners - if you ask me, they smell worse than the hoover!

The washer is mounted on a solid wooden pedestal. It doesn't walk during it's high speed spin, but it does make a lot of noise. The vibration is fairly noticeable and the vibration noise can be heard upstairs. Is this normal? I have one more week before the warranty is over. Thanks
