I just saw a mouse run across my kitchen floor and I know that if there is one there will be another.

So I would like to know based on your exerience, what is the best rat poison on the market.

I have one problem however we have a toy poodle and I wouldnt want her eating the posion ( but I am pretty sure I can figure out a way to prevent that).

I really dont care about the humane way fo doing this. I just want them dead as fast as possible.

We recently moved onto a farm and my dogs were in a newly plowed field. Then my dog jumped up on my daughters white cotton skirt and I can't get the stain out. I've bleached it for 2 days. Then I tried OxyClean. It got lighter with the bleach, but is still visible. What will work?

I have a woodstove and the flu pipe make a right angle to go out of the house and another right angle to the stainless steel chimney.
I cant get the draft going for the first 5 minutes no matter what I try. Smoke just fills the house, coming out the air intake and door until the heat convection starts working, then it's fine all day. Is there any technique or device that will make starting a fire less smokey? My old house had a straight flu and chimney and there was never a problem.

i am relocating & i need to drain my washing machine for the move, how do i do that? i was told to tip it but i cant remember what side to tip it to? the front, back, left, right?? i tried to tip it forward. its been leaning against the wall like that for about 5 hrs already and nothing has come out. the movers are coming in the morning to pack up all of our things so i kinda need some advice asap!! I want to use one of my rooms as bedroom but a while ago there was some very small amount mold/mildew stains from a leak in the wall of the closet(during winter snow storm and water was squrting in) . Since it was bleached and dried back then and there's no leak right now, my landlord doesn't want to rip it open to see what caused the leak and mildew. I am concerned that when we have some snow in a month or two, the leak will come back and not only my clothes will be ruined but the mold will cause some more serious health problems for me, too.

I wanted to know if you could wash foam bed padding (egg crate) in the washing machine it's the kind that you buy at walmart it's pink, and it's a full size- would it shrink if i put it in the washing machine and dryer? I figure it would be heavy after the wash....?

I bought some non-stop begonias and they have been beautiful all summer. Are these flowers that come back in the spring? Should I bring them into the house? They're definitely failing now. My boyfriend lives with his brother in a two bedroom apt., his brother is disgusting, he has a dog that is not potty trained and just "goes #1 and #2" anywhere in his room..and his brother just is soooo lazy and never cleans it up..it has been like that for months without him cleaning any of it up....it just is everywhere......I am over there alot visiting my bf....it is really gross and unsanitary...can he be evicted for that?
