The carpet cleaner was from HG passed through a high pressure cold water jet. It's taken 3 days to dry but still the amonia smell is overpowering. I tried tee tree oil with bicarb of soda as a 'natural' treatment but still no luck.

Someone has written on paper placed directly on the top of a very nice piece of wood furniture, , "antique", and it has left the indentations of everything they wrote, imbedded into the wood. Is there anything I can do to remove these, and not have to refinish the whole top ?

I'm looking for a roaster that can be used on the stove-top to make the gravy after I make the turkey. I'm thinking of getting a Calphalon roaster but am not sure it'll be okay to use on the stove-top.

I spent all f*cking day making ice in my freezer to impress my inlaws. I wanted to know how serious I was about being good for my wife.

I had ice piled so high they couldn't possibly misstake it's meaning.

But alas - after taking a 'potty break' I returned to find that my huge pile of love ice had simply dissapeared. My livingroom was damn near flooded. No-one else was in the house, all the doors and windows were shut.

What happened? Have you ever had this happen?

New house completed in september but moved my closing date to march so girlfriend and I could bank more money. House if fully completed except for carpeting. I was told that throughout the winter if the builder does not turn the heat on the house will have a mold problem come spring is this true. Live in Canada so pretty harsh winters. Thanks for the help
