Putting a king size quilt cover

Ironing - there's no point or sense of achievement. Just dry everything flat on the radiators. You have to iron shirts I suppose but that's it!

When I first moved out of my parents I used to iron everything because that's what my mum does but I soon came to my senses!

Washing up and quilt covers are ok because they only take a few minutes and the place looks tidier once you've done them.

Ironing, bores me to tears!! I have mastered the art of putting a duvet cover on a king size duvet now so that's not too bad, and as for washing up I have a dishwasher, and when that breaks down I have a husband!

Washing up.
You can watch the TV whilst you iron (and i find it secretly enjoyable) and it only takes a minute to put a quilt cover on if you turn it inside out and grab the corners and shake.

Ironing. It's stupid. Incidentally, there is an easy(ish) way to put on a king size duvet cover - what you do is turn it inside out, hold the end corners against the end corners of the duvet, and (still holding them) pull the whole thing the right way round. It's still a crappy job, but this does make it easier, honestly.

Cleaning windows, the quilt factor is easy if you have a system which I do and my bed is extra king size. But always seem to have at least one dried dollop of bird s**** every time I clean them, and I do them every 2 weeks approx.

I work away from home and find that all are tedious but I think the quilt one is worst.

I watch TV whilst ironing and CD's whilst washing up.

It seems to help
