New house completed in september but moved my closing date to march so girlfriend and I could bank more money. House if fully completed except for carpeting. I was told that throughout the winter if the builder does not turn the heat on the house will have a mold problem come spring is this true. Live in Canada so pretty harsh winters. Thanks for the help

If the home is under roof and dry you shouldn't experience a problem. Mold like moisture and cool. If its completely frozen (probably is in Canada) and no water there should not be a problem. You'll have to check to see that it's dry inside.
