My 1800's field stone fire place, leaks in when it rains. I can see the rain in the firebox. Note I do not use it as a fireplace now, I have a gas fire stove in the space. But can not seem to find where it is coming in, roof is new metal, but still leaks in rain water, please help me to find out how to find the leak.

My Dyson is not picking up and seems to be sucking in from the top of the cylinder bin, There is what looks like a yellow plastic vent which has a spring inside of it on the top of the cylinder bin and that is were all the sucking power seems to be.

Does anyone know how to fix it?

I'm seriously thinking about claiming on my household insurance for this, which I've never done in 20 years. Should I? Does anyone know if it will drastically affect the premiums in the future? I've tried Vanish, 1001, washing powder - nothing will shift it...

I need to mail two miniature lily bulbs back to the company and I don't have time to go to the post office. I have first class stamps, but how much are they in postage? According to the weight I need $1.59 in postage, and they're both about 1 inch in diameter. Help me understand this crap!

We are living in a rented apartment in Switzerland which has under floor heating, but there are no thermostats, and we are finding that we are far too warm during the night. There is a cupboard with a few horizontal pipes. Each has a tap...one for the bedroom, one for the lounge etc., but again no way of controlling the temperature as far as I can see. Can anyone help?
