I'm looking for a roaster that can be used on the stove-top to make the gravy after I make the turkey. I'm thinking of getting a Calphalon roaster but am not sure it'll be okay to use on the stove-top.

Go with Cast Iron and you can not go wrong. Aluminium is suseptible to reaction with acidic foods Cast Iron is not. Cast Iron is wonderful for even heating and cooking. http://www.homedepot.com/prel80/HDUS/EN_US/diy_main/pg_diy.jsp?prod_id=100387829&cm_mmc=1hd.com2froogle-_-product_feed-_-D28X-_-100387829
Should you not be able to find Cast Iron then I would recommend an enameled roaster or you may want to look at a Rival Electric Roaster. Looks similar to a crock pot but oval shaped to hold the turkey.
