You could but, it would be better if you painted it lighter. Just a tint of pink would look nice. And with you decor. it won't look cluttered.

I got this one..... I did this in the bathroom and it turned out beautiful and was very inexpensive. Get a sea sponge at walmart... you know like a bath sponge that you hold in your hand or you can use newspaper. Get two colors that go with your pink background. Like a mauve and a white... or mauve and green... whatever you like... then just wet the sponge or if you are using newspaper make sure it is dry and make a ball out of a full sheet of newspaper. Just pour out a small amount of paint and dip the sponge or the newspaper in the darker color. Dab, dab, dab all over the wall once that dries then take the lighter color and do the same thing, just dab a little less with the lighter shade. This is a beautiful effect. Try it, it is fun, easy, and beautifful.

You can put a "wash" on your walls. There's a special stain you can get. You put it on, then wipe it off with a rag. It gives it a kind of antique look. It's very faint, but enough to change the color and look of your walls. Good luck!
