I'm fitting 3 structural feature trusses with timber ridge purling. One end of the room is into a chimney stack and the other onto a 100mm block wall, My question is "How do I fit the Ridge purling to the chimney stack end of the room".

I was told that you can put moth balls around your house and they will stay away, but they smell soooooo bad!

The birdfeed falls onto the ground and then sprouts 'thick weeds' underneath the feeder. I hate that! How do I prevent this from happening? Is there a particular feed that I should use that won't do this? Or should I have the feeder in a different location?

We have a gas log fireplace. Do they sell anything that can be put on the logs or into the fire to make it smell like real wood burning?

I live in a mobile home park and recently they did some work on the water lines. Since then my kitchen sink has no water pressure, my washer will not rinse (but will fill), and the toilet tank in the master bath will not fill. Everything else in the house works fine. I know nothing about plumbing. We have spoke to the park and they say they did not do anything to make it happen so they will not fix the problem. Could sediment from them working on the water main gotten in my line? How do you fix it? Please help!!!!

My home heating system is not operating quite as it should. Not bad, not good. I have one radiator that heats on it's lower half and not the upper half. Another does not heat at all. The first/ground floor radiators in my house seem to work just fine and the two problem radiators are both on the second/upper floor. What's going on here?

When I bleed water from a radiator does the heating system automatically compensate for this by taking in new water?

If the water bleed produces discoloured water does this indicate a problem?

Yes! Go ahead and recommend a website that discusses this particular problem in detail if you would prefer.

Thank You !!
