take a small jar and put a piece of banana in it. seal the top with plastic wrap and secure with a rubber band. poke holes in top(not to large) they will go in but cant get out

ooo we used to do this one thing...you get a pop bottle and put like fruit and stuff in it, then take a normal size piece of paper and roll it like a megaphone and shove the one small side in the opening, then leave it wherever you have the fruit flies and they get in there and they cant get out. i hope you understand how to do it!!!

I have the same problem also...I clean my kitchen counter with clorox and I have no fruit laying around.....I went to wal mart and bought me the fly catcher to hang up and it works great....when the weather changes to cold will also drive the bugs inside...reguardless how clean ur home is.

I must agree. You have to remove their food source. Once I had a pototo fall down behind a storage area in my kitchen. The fruit flies were driving me nuts!!! Once I finally found their food and got rid of it, they disappeared too.

I hear that if you get a few vegetable flies, they will start fighting with the fruit flies and within a few days the problem will be gone...
