Still not sure what type to buy. Was presented with highly discounted leather sofas especially made for a big dept store. Assistant advised it was pigmented leather from the top layer of the hide. We thought that we'd better check another up(pper) market store and found another type of pigmented leather but much softer and carrying a higher price & called "Lawson". Does that ring a bell? Is soft or hard leather better for lounge suites for durability in a sunny environment? Soft seems to be less wrinkled but could it be because of the foam?
Not sure we have Natuzzi in NZ but is there a website we can find leather quality.
Thx.
Greatly appreciate opinions and thoughts ....

I cannot figure out how to unlock the blade so that I can lift it out of the saw bed. It's a 1992 7700 heavy duty.

Can anyone out there tell me if they have seen an antique bronze cooker hood, chimney style 60cm. I have spent days searching the net but can't find any. I can't believe that you can buy bronze taps, bronze accessories, i have a bronze cooker but they don't seem to supply bronze cooker hoods...?

I live in NJ. Put in fall seed a few weeks ago, and it is showing good results. Is it too late (cold) to put down more fall seed, or should i put down a winterizer?

It's my new job to convince people to have this done. It is free for a lot of people and there are great benefits in having it done not only for the billpayer but also the environment so why are some people just not interested in having it done when it is a very quick and clean process to install. ?and saves them 35% on their heating bills? It just bewildersme why someone wouldn't have it?

Recently, due to a bad storm, our power went out for 18 hrs and we ended up getting a lot of water in the basement cause our pump wasn't powered. I've had some suggest having a battery backup pump...and some say "just get a generator".

I've received estimates of $1,500.00 for the battery backup system......is that high ?

If you remove the nuts from the bolts of the washing machine feet but then screw the feet back in in order to lower a Bosch Classixx will this have any bad effects or will everything work as it did before? Having trouble getting the washing machine under the work surface and removing the bolts would make the difference.

We saw an ad for a free jacuzzi in our local classifieds, they just need it out by Sat. They say it still works, but hasn't been used in 4 years. It also needs 2 sides of paneling replaced. It will take a tremendous amount of work on our part to rent a stakebed, recruit 8 guys, and get the thing in our backyard. We've always wanted a jacuzzi, but I'm in school f/t right now so our finances SUCK.

I know 2 people who have acquired jacuzzis this way, and they work fine, so it's not necessarily going to end badly - but it has the potential to.

What do you guys thing?

Worth it?

I am looking to buy a new bed, and I think that the highest quality mattress would be a good investemnt.

As fasr as I know so far, the best quality mattress you can get is pocket sprung underneath with a memory foam topper.

But I also know there are new types of springs, and mattresses which are completely foam with no springs.

Please let me know your experiences good and bad with matresses. If you have back pain and they helped, whether it was the best purchase you ever made! etc...

I'd also like to know some websites that provide high quality mattresses at competitive prices, and are UK based. Preferably I would also like a long guarantee, I have seen 5 year guarantees but are there 10 year, 20 year or longer ones?

many thanks
