i wanna carve out an ak 47 out of wood just for fun
but i have no idea how to start and i need cut outs.

Even as inane as this Q is I offer this,,,take it with a light heart,,,as I did the Q.
Get a HUNK of wood, and a Router. Use a template if ya have to, or free hand the job.
Set the router bit at as little as 1/4 inch, and turn it on. Or in this case maybe FIRE IT UP,,,LOCK and LOAD???
Start at the left and ROUTE the A,,,do it in CAPS, then move the router right and route the K, the repeatthe move and route the 4 and 7,
Turn off the Router, brush off the debris, remove the safety goggles, and enjoy the project.

Go buy one of those toy ak-47's like they use for air soft rifles. Or print out a pic of one from the internet. Then just use a ruler with a scale to the size you want and draw out a cut out.

go to a gun shop and ask them if they mind you tracing it to posterboard.
