I cannot figure out how to unlock the blade so that I can lift it out of the saw bed. It's a 1992 7700 heavy duty.

It should be close to the hinge on the backside of the saw itself, it maybe a small bar that swings out of the way

It is possible that there is no mechanical lock on the machine.
In this case i have had to resort to putting a metal rod through the blade (has the blade got a hole) or catching a metal rod on one of the teeth of the blade and loosening the retaining bolt that way.
Be careful as the bolt may be reversed thread and is removed by turning it clockwise.
