Ok, I can get the old vinyl tiles up pretty easily. What is underneath is concrete in good condition and some dried up adhesive from the old vinyl tiles that were put down. I can scrape the dried up glue away and clean up with no problem, but then what I have is concrete with what I'm guessing is just some of the old adhesive that has maybe "soaked" (for lack of a better term) into the concrete, kind of discoloring it a little. Is it ok to tile over this? I really don't know any other way, it's not like you can remove it. Any ideas?

Essentially it says to remove my basement window. The old basement window has a steel frame that is kind of rusted. I was told those basement windows are difficult to remove. In lowes they sell these already made glassblock windows with vents in the center that are already made. The instructions show to use like a mortar bag and squeeze mortar around the entire window. It seems to me that It would be hard to get into there and it would not be very strong once your finished. Almost like someone could if they wanted to just kick it in??? Is it neccesary that I need to build a frame around there???? I need full instructions if someone could assist me????

Several years ago we completely stripped our wooden front doors. We got it down to the bare wood.

Some of the stain is wearing off now and I want to restain it. If I plan on using the same stain color, do I need to strip it again or can I sand down some, clean, and then stain and lacquer?

I want to be sure all costs and legal requirements are covered. I live in Ohio, if that helps, and am hoping to get a metal roof. Any information or warnings would be helpful.

I sealed my driveway 4 days ago. There is an area in front of my garage, (in the shade) that won't dry. It's supposed to rain tonight and get much colder. Is there something to make it dry?

Trying to find an electrician in the Kitchener/Waterloo area in Ontario Canada. He is Greek Cypriot, first name Vassos, last name begins with a "P'. Trying to contact him regarding his brother --- they have different last names so I cannot use the surname I do have. Looking for an e-mail address, telephone number, employer.

I have already searched through the normal methods on line, but without any success.

Hoping the local Greek Cypriot community may be able to provide some information in locating him.
