Does anyone know how to fix a coat zipper?

Whenever i try to zip it up - it pulls apart - don't want to get rid of my favorite jacket.

You need a new zipper. Phone a couple of tailor or alterationists in your area and ask them how much to replace a coat zipper.

I've taken mine to a seamstress because I don't sew. If you sew, measure the zipper, buy a matching on and sew in the new one.
