r l answered this the best ,,but are you sure you want to seal the slab this way. there are many refinishing products out there,if you apply a sealer right away your choices are narrowed because of what you can apply on top of the sealer do not be in a hurry,find what suits you . you a going to be looking at the slab a long time...3-6 mos. very if you do not put anything heavy on the slab during this time

After the cement has set for 7 days. That will insure that it has curred. If you seal it immediately after pouring, it will not cure properly. Make sure the surface is clean so the sealer penetrates well. Don't wait till grease or oil gets spilled on the cement. Do it now. (assuming the floor is new)

Buy the sealer and read the instructions, diferent brands sugest diferent cure time...
