I tried everything under the sun and still didn't get the results I wanted. I recently bought the Scrubbing Bubbles shower cleaner kit. It sprays the entire surface and I was amazed at how it got rid of the stains. I put some of the cleaner into a spray bottle to clean my tub.

The Mr. Clean magic Eraser will do a great job with no smell. However it will not kill any bacteria (so it's great for when company is coming, but not so great for actually taking a bath in). I like the Clorox bath wand-even though it's Clorox it doesn't smell like bleach. Your hands don't get dried out from cleansers and it works on a variety of surfaces.

dampen the soiled area with vinegar then pour baking soda on it. The effervescent action will clean it. More than one time may be needed.

run water in your shower, let it drain out until the shower is just damp, then sprinkle with comet, let set a few minutes and scrub out all the dirt and soap scum...
