There is sooo much lint in my laundry when it comes out of the washer. Even though the dryer screen catches a lot, is there anything I can put in the washer to reduce the lint? It's really getting ridiculous, especially with things like towels, rugs, and other fluffy items. My washer does not have a lint screen that I can see. Is there one inside somewhere that could need to be replaced? Or is there anything I can put in the wash to help?

Just installed a new built up floor in the bath room. Now toilet flange is too low to get a tight seal even with with a thicker wax ring. New floor is about 7/8" above old flange while ring sets about 1/4" into receased bottom of toilet. Need a solution. Use a 2nd wax ring? Flange extender(s)? What types of sealants or gaskets would I need? Thanks.

My downstairs bathroom has a slight sewer odor throughout the year and the toilet has clogged easily ever since I moved into this house. Could it be a venting issue? I looked in the attic but can't figure out which one it would be. Also noticed the toilet drain exits in the basement and makes a tight 90 degree turn right after leaving the toilet and this could be the clogging issue...Don't know. Any suggestions.

Example if your fixture is rated at 60Watt you would typically use a 13Watt Compact Fluorescent rated at 800 Lumens. Could you use a 20Watt(CFL)=75W(Bulb) or 26Watt(CFL)=100Watt(Bulb) on a 60Watt rated light fixture in order to get a brighter light? I find that the compact's are not as bright as the regular bulbs. Reason for asking is that you would not put a 100Watt bulb in a 60Watt rated fixture and wondered if the same principle applies to compact fluorescent lights.

Thanks
