use a high speed drill (Dremel type) with a really fine wire wheel. Zips it right off

If it has already dried try scraping it with your fingernail. You would be amazed how well that works.

If it is latex paint try a Q-tip with nail polish remover.

If things really look bad and you have some trim paint re-tape whatever is not trim and use a skinny brush to paint over whatever is smeared on the trim (and this time press the tape down very hard).

I always had this problem until my uncle who is a painter introduced me to de-natured alcohol. Put a little on a rag and rub gentley on over the paint and it will come up very easily. Don't get to much on the rag as if you get it on your freshly painted area, then you may have to touch it back up.

Use a Popsicle stick sharpened to a blade. it wont scratch the wood. If it soaked into the trim you may need to use a light cleaner to remove the rest of it.
