My town doesn't offer that...though you can put them in black bags and they will come pick them up. Though my other house provided that! Just wondering if you have one?
Maybe if the town puts in enough complaints...they'll start that up...
You'd think for $82.50 they would provide that service.
How much is your bill?
(2 questions..thanks!)

This was a "cooked" recipe - but can't for the life of me remenber all that was in it or how it was done. I saw this (I believe) in a "Dear Heloise" column.

When I install my speakers to the back forty. Can I run the weather proof wire along the telephone wire to save from having to dig and lay conduit for the first 60-80 feet? Or will I get or give interference due to inductance? The external Amp will be ~300 watts and I am installing 4 speakers.

My swivel chair squeaks every time I lean back on it or, as it appears now, even breathe sitting on it!! How can I fix it? Please note I am not even remotely related to anyone at the Home Depot, so please be as explicitly clear in your directions as possible! Thanks in advance for your help!

me and my boyfriend want to let our house out to cover the mortgage payments while we live rent-free abroad (relatives). We will be informing our mortgage lender and all the rest of it to keep it all above board.

Just wanted to see if any one has had experience of letting their home out and if they want to share any advice or warn me of anything! We were thinking about leaving stuff ie: washing machine, cooker..possibly bed..maybe most of our stuff that isn't personal to us. Any advice or stories? Thanks

Has anyone built a lake house that is cheaper than the conventional cost of a small second home. I have some land on the lake but can't afford much of a house.

We are in NW Indiana Zone 5 and we have 2 Canna plants and 2 Elephant ear plants grown from the big bulbs you buy at walmart. What would happen if I left these outside over the winter? Would they survive if I covered them with straw. What should I do with them for the winter? I was thinking of just sinking them in our pond over winter.

I'm 19 and practically motherless. Hopefully my internet won't be turned off by the time anyone can answer this. Paying bills is so hard to keep track of! Anyways, there's this one laundry detergent that makes you clothes and whole HOUSE smell REALLY good... i smell it on people ALL the time...maybe someone knows what laundry detergent/fabric softener this is? It's been around awhile, i remember smelling it as a kid too.

Hi all, I have done something dumb, I have got one of those glasses they are giving away free at MacDonalds and I have placed it inside a pint glass and it is stuck really good! Any ideas how to separate them without breaking a glass. I feel a bit stupid asking this but it has me beaten at the moment!!

Our utility room smells like gas (just moved in and got the gas hooked up). We have hook-ups for electric and gas dryer in there. I called the gas company and to fix the problem I've got to be at the house all day to wait for them. My job will not allow this. Does anybody know of something I can do? A valve I can close or something? Please help! I don't want to be dangerous...but I can't lose a day of works pay!

I accidently got the cap of a non-acetone nail polish remover on my dark brown leather sofa, and now there is a white ring around it. I know people sometimes use nail polish remover to remove ink stains on leather, but is there any way to reverse the damage of the nail polish remover on my sofa? please help!

I've got 1.5 weeks before the next fire-inspection. You can play with: the chainsaw, the weed whacker, or the chipper/shredder. There's about 3 acres of oak/manzanita that needs clearing. I'll pay you in beer. Whadda' you say?

I have good beer, you know.
