I do 1 to 3, but only if its mixed with water only. Be very very careful on mixing anything else, or with any other cleaners as the fumes can make you pass out.

But if you're trying to clean grout, or what not, a 1 to 3 ratio is good. Increase the bleach content if you have some real trouble spots though. Also be sure to wear gloves, trust me, you'll thank me for telling you that.

Chlorine Bleach is a very dangerous substance to use. I would recommend Solugard Botanical. It is safe, ok'd by the EPA and kills 99% of all germs including the Aids virus.

I usually use a gallon jug. so I put 1 cup of bleach & fill the rest with water.

i use 2 capfuls to every quart of water for general cleaning.i also put a capful in my rinse water when doing the dishes.
