i am the same way as you! i love being a housewife to my loving army hubby...we have a 2 year old together, i work at home, and am starting college this fall, but i still love to keep up with the house! i am definitely into old fashioned ways, make everything from scratch, garden, etc.
best advice i have is to start collecting cookbooks, especially betty crocker, she is the best! also, get a recipe box to store all of your favorite handed down recipes. it's great to have something to look back on when you aren't sure what to make for dinner.
make ahead meals are also great when you are busy, just freeze your leftovers when you make too much, in ziploc reusable containers, or rubbermaid ones. or, try and get the most out of your leftovers, my mom always used every bit of a large piece of meat, or big pot of soup. make sandwiches, casseroles, soups, etc.
also, for cleaning i suggest investing in baking soda and vinegar--they are the two most important cleaning ingredients! you can google their uses, but believe me they really work, are cheap, and environmentally safe. plus, the boyfriend will like how he is saving a few pennies. ;-)
never give up, keep an open mind, get creative, and you will become the domestic goddess you want to be! believe me! it is definitely rewarding to do everything by scratch. :-)

as I recall, a "domestic goddess" was something Rosanne called herself. She didn't really work, her place didn't look like a castle, and she looked, well, fat, in fact both she and her husband in the show were fat. So I don't think you're aiming for that title.
Sounds to me like you're looking for the title "wonder woman". And it's just like anything, if you do more than one thing and put all your efforts into it, then the other things suffer. There are no real tips. It depends on how much energy you have to do all those jobs well. If you know how to do all those things and then mesh them together, you'll get them all done.
I suggest that your husband bring in a lot of money so that you can have a maid and a housecleaner so that your architecture degree will be all A's so that you can get a good job after graduation.

no longer all adult males are sparkling and tidy, in basic terms the meticulous ones. Thee are many slobs available that have not any qualms approximately being messy. i think it certainly relies upon on what form of guy you're searching for for and no count in case you ought to submit along with his cleanliness ideals or slobbery behaviour. you will possibly desire to, although, attempt to have some form of habit wherein your clothing, in the event that they're grimy and not wearable in public, are located in a wash basket or laundry bag. you may place small clutter baskets in maximum rooms for those bits of paper and confectionery wrappings that seem to look from nowhere, and whilst ingesting foodstuff, attempt to consume on the eating table quite than from the settee or on your mattress room. make constructive that each and one and all grimy dishes are located on the sink and washed & dried (and placed away) previously you bypass to mattress each and each nighttime and not only as quickly as a week or month. do no longer walk around the abode or place of living on your pyjamas, have a recurring the place you bathe previously breakfast and you place on suitable clothing.whether you're staying abode all day. make constructive that the bathing room is wiped sparkling a minimum of as quickly as a week and the carpets and different floor factors are swept or vacuumed a minimum of another day although vacuuming could be placed off for as quickly as a week till airborne dirt and dust has been trampled onto the flooring. this isn't any longer an trouble-free job to be a sparkling individual and you will possibly desire to be vigilant on your on an widespread basis projects in any different case the mess will happen at a lots greater desirable point and you're able to finally end up being depressed or lazy, and each little thing would be comparable to previously the cleansing occured.

You're not a machine. You're a person with needs and desires. Your boyfriend is probably very nice but he needs to do half the chores, otherwise it's unfair for you.
There's nothing wrong with wanting to be efficient, but I think you need to be fair to yourself and be realistic about what you can achieve in one day because time is not elastic. You can be very good but you can't be perfect.
If you're guy is the right guy, he will understand that and take his responsibility.
Good luck!

Try meal planning for the week...that helps. Select one day for the heavier type housekeeping...always put things away, this helps to reduce clutter...less clutter helps the appearance of looking cleaner than it actual may be...Study for a while after dinner and then spend some time with your husband/ boyfriend and then collapse

Get yourself a cleaner for the housework, errrr....cooking - Tesco Finest? Or get him to do it ...... you do seem to have rather a lot on your plate at the moment, I am sure he would be (deffo should be) willing to help you out quite a bit. Dont try and be everything or you will be bloody exhausted babe!! If he helps out you may find you have some energy left in the bedroom department!

If it doesn't come naturally, get a cleaner who is prepared to do ironing too. You can usually get them for a couple of hours a week at a reasonable price and you'd be helping someone out with a bit of extra money too.
