I don't know exactly what you're looking for, but this might be a start. I've never used this company's solar products, but I've bought rechargeable batteries from it, and they were fine.

Put "solar" in the site's product search.

I don't think there is such a thing as "cheap" solar cells. But they price should come down as more and more people are interested.

Plus - there is solar fabric in development. Very portable, can be used on hickers backbacks to charge small items - or the sails on sailboats - which would charge all manner of onbaord equipment.

there are cheap solar cells and diy.com tells how to make them from copper processing but cheap cells produce very little juice in fact i believe they said it took thousands of the cheap boogers just to lite a bulb
