A hose to the water pump, or the water pump itself

I had this problem, it could be the fill hoses. going from the water source to the washer. You should check your hoses to see if they're wet.
I just bought the really cool metal ones from home depot. They have sensors to detect leaks, and stop water flow when they detect one. Good luck.

If its a front loading washer there is a sensor that may be bad.

Could be a bad gasket or a bad hose or a leaking pump...

your cloths are to close to the water fill spraying out under lid.
