I have an enclosed lower patio and wish to keep the existing compacted gravel over the majority of its surface, but after heavy rainfall the water sits in a pool before draining after a few minutes.
Any suggestions to improve drainage? Thanks

I moved into a new house and trumpet vine is growing on it. It is very pretty but,it is very advasive stuff and is tearing up the side of my house and trying to go under the shingles on my roof. Do you know any ways of totally killing it. I know it has to be killed to the root. It is a woody vine. Help me out here.

I bought a basil plant and kept in on the patio for a while and it did okay, but I know it was not getting enough sunlight. When I put it outside, it started to do better, but then some bugs got to it and it's dying. I bought a new one, and I want to know what I can spray on it to keep the bugs away, but that also will not be harmful to me since I will be adding it to my food.
Thanks.

I have a large attic that I want to convert into a bedroom. There are no electrical lines that run up to it. I want to place at lease one light switch and three outlets in this room and have installed an attic fan with a thermostat to control the temperature in this room. Is this an expensive job for an electrician or a cheap and simple one? How much should I expect to pay?

I have a very large closet that I want to turn into a bathroom, I can do the toilet and shower and tile installation myself but will need a licenced plumber to do the rough in plumbing. The closet is right next besides an already existent bathroom on the second floor so pipe access and drainage should not be too much of a problem. How much should I expect to get charged by a quality plumber?

Are bb guns a good deterrent for raccoons. I have a raccons that come in the middle of the night climbing the siding on the house trying to reach the roof. My Neighbor had a den living in his attic and they try to get there by climbing my roof.

My husband refs basketball so he gets really seaty. I wash his shirt every time after he works, but it still smells even after washing and drying with a fragrant dryer sheet. The shirt is polyester...all his other shirts that aren't polyester come out fine. The smell just doesn't seem to want to leave the ref shirt. I know baking soda is good for removing odors I'm just not sure if you can use it in the laundry and how much to use. Also, if you have any other suggestions that would be great! Thanks!
