My garage was converted to a dining room so it has a very low ceiling. I am laying either beech or oak laminate floor and have a natural pine dining table (very light wood). What colour is best for a dining room? I read that shades of red with are good for one wall, leaving 3 neutral walls but i feel that red will be too dark for this room (it is quite small). I am thinking of painting it very light terracotta but i'm not sure if this will be appropriate for a dining room.......any ideas what colour/shade is best??

I am surrounded and innundated by stickers. I live in North Texas. They are so bad that they are all in my house and my 17 month old even has a name for them. We all get at least 4 or 5 stickers a day in our feet and my baby boy is so used to them he pulls them out of his feet and brings them to me. We are in sticker hell and would appreciate any help. I need big help, we live on 20 acres. thanks.,,

I've recently taken off wallpaper in a bathroom in my parent's house. They've had the same wallpaper since they moved in nearly 30 years ago. My goal is to repaint the walls and ceiling. Unfortunately, there is a bit of water damage in two areas -- right above the wall tiles which are directly above the floor. How do I know if the damage can be repaired or whether I should re-drywall? The two damaged spots are roughly 4x4 inches -- they aren't really holes but the drywall is starting to crumble and its a bit brown in color.

Will it really save us money if we want to go the route of making them ourselves? We want to have two or three layers of cardstock, probably (I can't think of what it would be called) not folded, but just one piece that you don't have to open to read. ??? It's late, I can't think straight. lol

We are both creative and crafty and have other people around us that can help. We have looked at invitations online and have seen ones that cost around $150-$200 for 100 that we like.

Should we make our own to save money or buy some to save the effort and time (we will have time to do it ourselves)?
