I want to freshen my children's mattress. I've cleaned it indoors using chemicals and clorox but it takes forever to dry and leaves a watermark stain.

I know this is "country", but I had a notion that since we're going through a drought season, I want to take it outside, douse it with cleaners and hose it down! I know it will take forever to dry, but time and sun will be on my side.

Any better suggestions?

I see that some houses have an association, so why would anyone want to buy a house for 1 million dollars and pay rent the rest of your life.

That doesn't make sense.

What is the benefit of buying a house with an association fee instead of a house without it.

I basically see rent for the rest of your life, on something you already own.

What do you think about association fees?

I have the type of washing maching where you put the fabric softener in hole that's in the middle of the tub, I've noticed that there's alot of buildup in there. It looks really nasty. How does one go about cleaning it out?

I don't know what kind they are other than they are evergreen. I have trimmed away all of the green so now they are just a tangled mess of branches, stump (somewhere in there, I'm sure there's a stump) and roots. We've tried digging and pulling but can't budge them. We can't burn them out due to city ordinance. My husband doesn't want to use our Santa Fe to yank them out for fear of damaging the vehicle. Any serious tips? Know any good websites with advice?

I actually want to paint a bisque wash basin like you see in the mexican resturants. They have matching toilets as well, I know I will have to purchase that, I could never find a kiln that big!!! I want to make a few tiles as well. My question is exactly what kind, brand & type of glaze or paint with sealer am I looking for? Not that paint or tile that I can't fire. It has to be waterproof & functionable. Is there a site that has illustrations step by step & where I can order such paint. What kind of bisque or pottery am I looking for? I am very artistic and I know I can do this, I just need the basics and the right supplies. If someone knows or has done any of this craft please advise me. There are no classes to take anywhere near my home.
Here are a few examples of what I want to do.

We already have a well exprienced attorney. I am just looking for any additional information or advice from those who have gone through this before. This may be the first of many against this developer as there are other buildings with similar issues (in the same neighborhood). We have tried to settle on an amount for repairs but as you may have guessed the developer is playing hardball.
