I used Awesome or Awesome orange to get black grease off my seat in the vehicle. Didn't even fade the fabric. It can be found at the Dolllar Tree or Dolllar General. Great product for a cheap price. Has many other uses. Good Luck.....Shouldn't harm clothing or washing machine. I also have used it or clothes that were stained. Worked great, just don't dry before you try....

I ditto the Lestoil comment!! I had a hard time finding it, but finally found it at K-Mart. Nothing beats it for removing grease.

I use dawn if i really have to. That helps me alot with the grease and it is something I always have on hand

lestoil! Smells like an industrial solvent, but gets grease, lipstick, blood out of clothing!

My dad is a heavy equipment mechanic. We go through bottles of SHOUT on his clothes. Put it on, let it set for a while and scrub it to loosen up the gunk. Then throw it in the wash. It should come right out.
