I would like a few different evergreen trees planted in my front yard to decorate during Christmas. I would like to keep them pruned down to 6 - 8 feet in height.
What trees will withstand this pruning and still look great and stay healthy? I live in N/W Indiana.

Help. Every spring, my flowering pear loses all of its leaves after they get dark spots on them. Then the leaves grow back. Sometimes it will lose all its leaves twice in a season. We have a lot of tree frogs and toads and I don't want to harm them with poisons. Any suggestions? Thanks.

They are in a large ceramic pot. They get about 2 hours of direct sun per day. It has been two years now, no blooms. They were blooming when I bought them. Help!

The Kirby salesman came by today and showed us a demonstration. I was absolutely disgusted by how filthy my carpet is. We have cats, and he pulled up cat hair from places where I had never even seen them. There was so much crap in my carpet. I have allergies, and I could not believe that I had been breathing that stuff. We vacuum 2-3 times a week, and you would've thought we lived in a barn from the stuff on that filter. So has anyone else used a Kirby, bought one, etc.? Did it help with allergies? Are you happy with it in the long run? We paid 2300 dollars, so I would like to know if it will be worth it.

I plan to get a professonal pest control service Asap, but I need some answers now a real head start..
I am already,Cleaning Everything.
What about, traps, baits, and gels?
I know most professonal roach kill products are not available to the public, so what's the next best thing ?
What about a,"Do It your self "pest control shop?
I live in, Orlando Florida, in a moble home..
I have lived here 43 years, so I am use to our unique,ok, weird weather.
The cock roaches are so resilliant this year, more then past years that I have seen..
Is there a powder, as well as the boric acid, and something to flush them out with ?
I heard about the baits I can make, the boric acid, flour, bacon drippings.what's the "formula" for this, how much of each ?
I need to do the edges of the cealing too.
What about, Bioganic products ?
I can't tent, I am too close to my neighbors, like a sardine can, well, almost..
Help....

Please provide a home made recipe to remove/dissolve stubborn bird poo from textured paving or recommend a product available in Australia. I don't really want to scrub as it is too large an area which is constantly bombarded by birds but even pressure cleaning alone still takes ages!

While at work, my fiance called me and was scared ****less because she was hearing the door try to open. I want to look into purchasing a small handgun for her defense when I am away and for myself when I am there. What are some good brands that are relatively cheap?

We are having an outdoor summer wedding in the evening next year, probably in the country on a farm (not with cows and pigs and chickens, that's just what we in the South call big pieces of open land in the country). lol

I am up to hearing ANY suggestions you have. Who knows, I might go with something I never would have thought of!

If it helps, we are wanting a somewhat country feel (not sunflowers and gingham check tablecloths), but maybe mason jars with candles in them. Something more old-timey and antiquey (is that a word?) lol

I love summery colors! My favorite color is BLUE and I know that I want some things to be blue. Maybe several different shades and tones of blue?

I REALLY like AQUA BLUE and TURQUOISE, colors that remind me of the ocean and beach, my favorite place in the world.

What are some other colors that I can use with aqua or turquoise or both?

Thanks for the help! Remember, I open to ALL suggestions!

These bleach tablets go into the toilet's reservoir, thus providing a continuous supply of bleached water to the bowl. My pipes are made of copper.

I have a GFCI Outlet in my bathroom. Of course, like most outlets in a house, you can only plug 2 electric devices in at a time. If I got an adapter that you plug into the 2 outlets to make it 6 outlets, would the GFCI still function properly if something came in contact with water?

We really only want to plug a Blow Dryer and an Electric Razor into the outlet but the Plug on the end of each item is too big for them to both plug into that outlet at the same time so I was thinking of getting an adapter with more outlets just to have the space to plug both items in.

How do you keep your house picked up and clean? I talked to other moms and they started telling me about keeping lists and master lists, I felt my eyes glaze over, any tips?

You know those small green propane cans for portable grills. We got ours out tonight for the first time. Never used propane before. When we were done, we turned it off and removed it from the grill, but it still sounded like it wasleaking out gas. What's up? How do I make it stop?
