I just built a new home that has Oak Cabinets through-out. I decided I do not like them, and want to remove this Light Oak Gel Stain from the Oak Wood, and Re-Stain all of them, to a Lighter Color, or perhaps to use a Pickel Finish.

My Dilemma: The Builder Said, "It Is To Late", that once Oak is stained with anything, the only thing I can do is to paint over them.

If at-all-possible, I do not want to paint my Cabinets, they are just to pretty. If you have a proven technology, please send it on to me.

Thank You,

I was told to clean the sensors to make sure dirt wasnt blocking transmission and i did it. I was told the sunlight could blanch the beam and to move the sensors back away from the door and that didnt work. When the door is closed the red light indicates it is receiving transmission however it occasionally flickers. When the door is open the red light goes off completely with occasional flickers. Could this mean I have bad sensors? The garage door opener is approx. 3 years old and has never closed during the day without a manual override. Thanks for you help!!!

I am painting my sons room in a camouflage theme. The whole room will be done in a sandish, desert color; then I am going to paint camouflage patterns on certain areas of the walls. I need help figuring out how to draw the camo patterns. There are patterns online but only for vehicles and figurines. I am right in the middle of this project as we speak and I need help!!!.....Thanks

There is a huge space underneath my front door. Not only can you tell if someone is home because light is visible and shadow of people walking past the door can be seen if you're walking towards the door, but a huge draft also comes under the door. What can I do to fix this problem? Is there something I can attach to the bottom of the door to get rid of that extra space? Thanks

For a while now, i have toyed with teh idea of making a small herb/spice garden. Just a window-sill one taht will still grow in the winter, seeing as how it'll be indoors.
I was wondering if anyone knew whether or not stores (Home Depot, Lowes, etc.) stopped selling seeds and/or plants for herb gardens at any time of the year? Would i have to buy seeds instead of the little beginning plants? What herbs/ spices would be best?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you much,

A condo I recently moved into was painted a few months prior. The paint job isn't the greatest, and each time I open and close the doors, it makes a loud sound, or it doesn't close easily. What would cause this? I'm assuming it has something to do with the paint job. Also, it looks like flat latex paint was used throughout the entire condo. Isn't that strange? Already the paint is flaking. Thanks
