what os the best way to clean my jewelry. I have jewelry cleaner, i tried ashes and toothpaste as some people say but it seems to not clean the diamond (a real diamon) the way i hoped. How do i clean ring with Diamonds so that the gold and also the diamond shines again like when i bought it?

All the answers are not good enough my sister is a jeweler and she said if you don't have anything good enough to clean your precious diamonds use polident cleaners tabs for false teeth soak rings and other jewelry over night or for a few hrs the effervescent cleans the gunk out and your diamonds will shine & sparkle like brand new Hope i helped

Combine 1 teaspoon of lemon juice with 2 tablespoons of vinegar. Add a dash of peroxide solution diluted 2 to 1. Stir briskly for 15 seconds.

Soak the jewelry in the mixture for 30 minutes.

Remove from the solution and brush off the mixture with an old toothbrush under running water.

Done.

Hello,

Try a Gold concentrated cleaning soluition or a Godl cleaning cloth. It depends on what carat your ring is and also what carat the diamond is. Remember the four c's.....

I wouldn't advice going to jeweller's because they aren't trustworthy. If you are going to have it clean there, you pay the fee, have them clean it in front of you.

sink it in a liquid containing water and some machine washing detergent powder with enzyma in it's formula for a few minutes . Then clean it by a brush under running water

1. line a small bowl with aluminum foil
2. add one quart of warm water
3. add one heaping teaspoon of salt
4. add one tablespoon of Calgon water softener
5. place jewelry in bowl and swish around, then pat dry

Doesn't vinegar work? I've used it before and it made my rock sparkle.
