Is it just called the outer edge of tub or is there a specific name? It's the top portion that goes from one end of the wall to the other. That part has chipped porcelain and I need to call around for ideas on how to fix it, but I'm not sure what to call that part when I speak to people. Thanks

How can I fill the cracks with a plyable weather proof material (inexpensive hopefully) that form between my house foundation and concrete sidewalk?

There is nothing wrong with the laminte, infact we will be able to re-use it once we replace the sub floor, its not expansion, its a LARGE "bump". I hope that its the one about absorbing moister from under house, but it seems so weird that its only happened there. We already had a leak in the bathroom and replaced it with plywood, and we'll be doing the same in the kitchen, and I guess now in the living romm!

My parents toilet is really hard to flush, you have to pump the handle 10 - 15 times in fast sucsession in order to build up enough momento for it to enventually kick into gear. If you just flush once it does nothing at all. Any ides.

Replacing my 30 gal water heater - which is in a wall space not much wider than the heater. Floor is not great from past water heater leaks, and I do not want to replace it right now - though I MUST prevent further damage. Only drip tray (For under the water heater to catch leaks) I can find is HUGE and won't fit in the space. Heater is 19 in in diameter. Can anyone help?

I just saw something outside that looked like a cross between a hummingbird and a moth. It flew and drank from the flowers like a hummingbird, but it was colored like a moth and had antennae. Ack! And it wasn't shy at all, lemme tell ya. Anyone know what this is?

I want to put siding on my house, but I don't want to hate it in 15 years because it looks dated. Which do you think will stand the test of time?

I'm trying to build a wooden coat tree for my entry. All I want is a simple design, no carved wood or anything, with some dowels as the actual "hands" or whatever they are called. Maybe 6-8ft tall, with a + for a base. Really simple. I've looked online for plans, but can't seem to find any. And I can't actually do something like this from scratch - I really do need to at least be told what screws/nuts/bolts/plates to buy, so that this thing doesn't fall apart my first time out. Can anyone give me instructions or a link? Thanks.

They gave me a new capacator and it looks different. It has 2 connectors with 3 prongs, the old one had an extra connector with one prong in the back of it. The motor I got has 1 brown/white, 1 brown, 1 black, 1 white. The old motor had a purple wire coming off the right side of capacator, brown coming off the back connector of capacator, and black going to other circuit block......I did diagram this before taking it out, just the new wires have me thrown off a little. Just want to make sure I don't fry the motor.

Thanks!!!

I bought one and I have to wear earplugs to use it. It doesn't work all that well, either, just good enough. I'm thinking of taking it back. Any suggestions for a good stick vacuum? My case on my Hoover was cracked really badly (where it meets the handle) - that's why I bought the Shark.

The white paint on the drywall has bubbled up and peeled off over the last 12 months. The paint is probably 4 or 5 coats thick and is above a vent in my house. Has anyone else had a problem like this?
